Daniel lost his job last week. His mind hasn’t been in a good place.
The rent’s due next week.
The dog food container’s almost empty.
Bills. Bills. Bills. How will he manage?
Frustrated, he slumps over his breakfast when it hits him: He wanted a new job anyway. His dog’s actually allergic to his food. His lease is ending, and most nights are spent taking care of his ill father. He could move in with him.
He’s been looking at it all wrong. Instead of focusing on the good, Daniel only saw the bad. Now, he’s hopeful for something better.
