Another stay in the hospital. Another day of ordering meals from a limited menu. She barely has much of an appetite, so a bowl of soup will suffice.
Salena’s health took a turn for the worse after moving into her new home. All the heavy lifting and stress from doing it on her own sent her into a sickle cell crisis.
It’s her first home. She wanted to wait for marriage to become a homeowner, but the way the years kept passing with no husband in sight, she figured it time to do it for herself.
