Once a week, I cut the grass. Other days, I care for it in other ways by fertilizing it, giving it ample water, removing weeds.
I give my lawn love.
Not everyone in my neighborhood does the same. Unfortunately, my next-door neighbor is one of them. He’s heard the compliments doled out by passersby. He’s even inquired on my techniques and equipment. Nonetheless, what he does with his lawn doesn’t change.
Just goes to show, a person can have all the tools and still not do right.
I take pride in how I’m represented. I wish others felt the same.
